Allegations by the United National Movement members regarding the problems in the State Budget have been refuted by the governing coalition. According to the head of the Commission on Finances and Budget, the financing of every project is proceeding as planned in the 2013 Budget. The UNM’s allegations regarding the State’s inability to fulfil some of its Budget pledges due to the slow economic growth have become frequent in recent times.
