Giorgi Seturidze Accuses Senior Members of Prosecutor’s Office of Bias

The head of the International Investments Coordination Centre Giorgi Seturidze has accused senior members of the Prosecutor’s Office of bias. The case relates to the sale of the former IMELI building. Mr. Seturidze, who represented the Dhabi Group in Georgia from 2010, has told TV3 that senior members of the Prosecutor’s Office have intentionally delayed the legal proceedings. According to him, the Chief Executive of the Dhabi Group Samy Edwards has protectors at the Prosecutor’s Office who are not interested in serving justice. However, Mr. Seturidze has refrained from naming the senior officials in question.
After declaring his distrust towards the Prosecutor’s Office, Giorgi Seturidze submitted his case to the Finance Ministry Investigation Department in July.
