The Minister of the Economy has responded to the statements made by some businessmen and experts on TV3 regarding the ministry’s unwillingness to return the assets that are in its possession to their previous owners, who had them confiscated under the previous government. According to Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the issue cannot be approached lightly, and a full account of all the assets that are registered on the ministry’s account ought to be compiled in a correct manner. A certain legal framework has to be created for the audits to operate within, Mr. Kvirikashvili has added.
