Georgian President Met with Tbilisi Mayor and Finance Minister on Disaster Issues

President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili discussed the results of the last weekend`s disaster with Tbilisi mayor Gigi Ugulava and Minister of Finance Dimitri Gvindadze.
President said the shacks should be completely removed from Tbilisi and the construction standards should be strictly controlled in the capital. Tbilisi Mayor said fifteen families are already provided with temporary lodgings and three others will be assisted soon.
President instructed Minister of Finance Dimitri Gvindadze to allocate funds from the state budget for helping people who were seriously damaged in regions.
Last weekend`s rains caused flood and killed five people in Tbilisi.
