Georgian President Holds Meetings in Brussels

Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili continues his visit to Brussels. Saakashvili is attending the summit of the European People’s Party, which will be continued with the summit of the European Union.

Within the visit, Head of the State holds meetings with the Council of Europe’s and EU authorities. During the meeting with Stefan Fule, European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy, Georgian President discussed enhancement of Georgia-EU relations, and negotiations on free-trade and visa free relations with the EU member states.

Georgian President has already met with the chairperson of the political group of the progressive alliance of EU social-democrats and the EU commission for development policy.
