Georgian PM Introduced the Governmental Program of Harvest Storing and Realization

Prime Minister of GeorgiaVano Merabishvili arrived in Kareli on July 18 and visited the fruit garden of Tamaz Totladze. PM viewed the new system of irrigation installed in the apple garden of the locals.

Merabishvili talked with the host and introduced the governmental program of harvest storing and realization, which includes formation of a state-owned company. In addition, the government plans to arrange special refrigerator systems for storing the harvest in Georgia’s regions, which will be capable to store 40 000 tones of product. Analogue storage is operates in Tbilisi.

“We’re committed to assist farmers in product realization both locally and abroad,” declared Georgian PM.
