Georgia-Passive Member of WTO

Georgia was named one of the passive members of the World Trade Organization (WTO), reports influential magazine The Economic Times. As Kakha Gogolashvili, Director of EU Studies at the Georgian Foundation for Strategic and International Studies, says Georgia needs to get more active.  In his words, WTO membership is necessary, but it is not enough for the country’s economic and export potential development. Gogolashvili also explains that the country must have an export incentive economic policy.
