Georgia Improves in the Doing Business Rankings

In the 2014 Doing Business rankings, Georgia has improved from the 9th position to the 8th. Furthermore, Georgia is first among the 189 countries in terms of property registration. It ranks just behind South Korea, and just ahead of Norway. It is also ahead of all other countries in the post-Soviet space, with Armenia ranking 37th, Russia 92nd, and Azerbaijan 70th. The rankings are being led by Singapore, Hong Kong and New Zealand.
