GCCI President Visits Lisbon

(CNA)- Kakha Baindurashvili, President of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) is on an official visit in Lisbon. GCCI President will participate in an international conference held on April 18-19 in the frame of the European Commission Eastern Partnership program.

The conference co-organizer is European Training Foundation (ETF), the aim of which is to support vocational educational and training (VET) reforms in the Eastern Partnership member countries.

During the conference will be discussed top important issues like labor market research, establishment of right communication between employers and job seekers, related approach from the EU countries, etc., which are crucial for assisting VET development in transition economies. The conference participants will be given an opportunity to share their experience with the attendants from other countries.

During his speech GCCI President will speak about VET development environment in the country and projects the chamber intends to implement together with the Professional Education Foundation of Georgia.
