GCCI President Met with BPN Representatives

(CNA)-Kakha Baindurahsvili, President of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) met with heads of Business Professionals Network (BPN) paying a business visit to Georgia. Namely, Baindurashvili held a meeting with Jürg Opprecht, the founder/the President and Hans Wilhelm, Executive Director of BNP

As it was mentioned during the meeting, BNP is ready to start business activities in Georgia and help start-up businesses by holding seminars, issuing preferential credits and assist them in finding foreign partners. President of GCCI informed BNP heads about the local business environment and small business development perspectives. The sides agreed on active cooperation and set future action plans.

BPN is a Swiss fund, which assists small and medium size business development (tuition and credit issue. The main goal of the fund, created in 90s, is to create jobs and fight poverty. BPN operates successfully in the following countries: Kyrgyzstan, Nicaragua, Mongolia, Ruanda and Benin.
