Free ‘Video Visits’ on St. George’s Day

To celebrate the Feast of St. George on 22 November, citizens will be able to use the ‘video visit’ service free of charge. The Deputy Minister of Corrections and Legal Assistance Grigol Giorgadze has presented the ministry’s initiative in this regard at today’s briefing. According to the existing legislation, the ‘video visit’ service can be used by any Georgian resident with the prisoners’ consent. The duration of the ‘video visit’ is 15 minutes, and costs 15 Lari.
