The Minister of the Economy has told TV3 that in the light of the historic significance of the National Bank’s former building, there are no plans to sell it off. The issue regarding the historic building came to the fore following the comments made by the National Bank’s former President Irakli Managadze, who claimed that there had been plans for its sale. According to Mr. Managadze, the plans were designed after the Bank moved its headquarters to the Public Service Hall last December.
