Former Administrator to face Charges

The former Administrator of Old Tbilisi, Lasha Purtskhvanidze, and his deputy, Koba Kharshiladze, will be charged today. They were arrested by the Financial Police yesterday. According to the investigators, they will have charges of illegal business activities and money laundering. The case relates to the tenders announced by the Administration for greening works in 2007, in which, according to the investigators, Mr Purtskhvanidze’s and Mr Kharshiladze’s own company, Green Service, took part.
