EU Economic Integration Forum to be Created at Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

On December 5, 2011 European Union (EU) announced starting negotiations about Free Trade agreement with Georgia.
Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI ) made a decision to create an EU Economic Integration Forum, the main goal of which is to get local manufacturers informed about the Free Trade agreement and make them part of the process.
“Free Trade agreement with EU will allow Georgian manufacturers to export their production to the European markets without any additional barriers and get positioned on new markets. EU Economic Integration Forum will be actively involved in this process by holding discussions with businessmen and defining the interests of the local private sector and sharing them with negotiation participant side,” declared Kakha Baindurashvili, the President of GCCI.
