Environment Protection Ministry to Respond to Concerns about Pollution

How will the Environment Protection Ministry respond to the activities of the company that owns Madneuli and Kvartsiti? This question has once again become topical following the first broadcast of the Close Vision programme on TV3. Local residents and non-governmental organisations have spoken to the programme about the pollution of the environment and its effects upon the health of the locals.
The Environment Protection Minister has told TV3 that talks with the owners of Madneuli with regards to the pollution are underway. The ministry insists that measures will be taken to prevent the pollution of rivers.
