Emergency Group of Natural Disaster Liquidation Set Up by Georgian Prime Minister

(CNA)-A special emergency group has been set up by Georgian prime minister in order to liquidate the affect caused by strong winds. The special group members created by Georgian PM Bidzina Ivanishvili includes: Nodar Khaduri-Minister of Finance of Georgia, Kakha Kaladze-Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, David Narmania-Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development, David Sergeenko- Minister of Labor, Health and Social Affairs, also representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Ministry of Defence.

Today the first meeting of the Emergency Group was held at the Ministry of Finance of Georgia.

According to the Energy Minister, around 100 000 subscribers got disconnected because of the bad weather.

Forecasters expect weather to improve tomorrow.
