Bank of Georgia, the leading commercial bank in the country, was named most active TFP (The Trade Facilitation Programme) Bank in Georgia in 2012. The Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP) holds its yearly award ceremonies at the EBRD’s Annual Meeting to honour the most active issuing and confirming banks involved in the programme. The winners are announced based on the number of guarantee transactions.
Bank of Georgia is an ultimate leader of the market, which is at a big extent conditioned by the bank’s cooperation with world’s largest financial institutions, among them: ENRD, TFP, IFC, GTFP, ADB and TFP. The above-mentioned cooperation gives consumers an opportunity to offer additional individual products in respect to trade financing.
