Development Companies do not Regard the Banks as their Supporters

The banking sector’s claims about its support for the country’s businesses are exaggerated – such is many development companies’ assessment of their relationship with the banks. In recent statements, the country’s leading banks had claimed to be the main supporters of the Georgian business sector. The response from the businesses can be heard in our broadcast at 19:00 tonight. The head of the Developers’ Association Irakli Rostomashvili claims that development business as such is non-existent in Georgia – a fact which clearly shows that banks are doing nothing to support business in the country. According to Mr. Rostomashvili, supporting the development business is not in the banks’ interests at all.
