The Asian Development Bank will issue a $171 million loan at favourable rates to Georgia. An agreement between the bank and the Georgian government regarding the financing of infrastructural projects was signed at the Ministry of Finance.
The agreement was signed by the Finance Minister, Nodar Khaduri, on the one hand, and by the Director General of the Asian Development Bank’s Central and West Asia Department, Klaus Gerhaeusser, on the other.
According to the agreement, the financial resources will be used for the works on the Kutaisi water supply system, the water and sewage system in Ureki, the new Tbilisi-Rustavi highway, and the coastal protection system in Anaklia.
