Cheap Agricultural Loans Exceed the 95 Million Mark

According to the Agriculture Minister Shalva Pipia’s statement at today’s meeting with the media, up to 6000 loans have been issued as part of the Cheap Agricultural Loans programme. Of these 6000, farmers have obtained 2685 small loans at 0% interest rate. Small enterprises and large farming companies have obtained 2474 loans, while 205 loans were issued to newly established enterprises.
As of 10 September, loans totalling more than GEL 95 million have been issued as part of the Cheap Agricultural Loans programme.
