What changes are to take place at the Liberty Bank following the Director General Lado Gurgenidze’s departure? From 1 July, the bank will headed by Giorgi Arveladze. The new Director General has told TV3 that Liberty Bank will aim to continue the previous administration’s development process, and to offer innovations to its customers.
The former Prime Minister Mr. Gurgenidze will remain as the acting head of the supervisory council at Liberty Bank until the end of 2015, and will aid the bank in its development strategy and attracting capital. Mr. Gurgenidze had acquired the bank formerly known as People’s Bank together with the Romanian billionaire Dinu Petruciu in 2009.
