Chamber of Small and Medium Size Businesses to be Launched under the Aegis of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry

(CNA)- Chamber and Small and Medium Size Businesses, launched under the aegis of Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GCCI) will be headed by Kakha Kokhreidze, Director of Georgian Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Association.
“Chamber of Small and Medium Size Businesses is launched under the aegis of GCCI. The chamber will concentrate on several directions. First direction is to further develop business culture in order to incite more people to become entrepreneurs. Lots of our citizens are unemployed and are looking for job opportunities,” declared Kokhreidze during the presentation held at Holiday Inn hotel on April 1.
According to him, one of the main tasks of the Chamber and Small and Medium Size Businesses will be the creation of business incubators, also arbitrage and dispute solution issues.
“This will help small businesses to expand, which is good for market orientation. We’re also willing to work out mentors program. These people will be located in regions and will deliver consultations to small and medium size entrepreneurs how to set goals and run financial management right way.
Members of Chamber of Small and Medium Size Businesses can be everyone whether they are the representatives of Georgian Small and Medium Sized Enterprises Association, Tourism Association, Association of Farmers or other organizations.
