The development company Centre Point is accusing the Mayor’s Office of creating artificial obstacles. The talk is of 3 ongoing construction projects, for which the company has been trying to obtain permit extensions since 1 March.
Company spokeswoman Maia Mikadze has stated that if it is unable to obtain the permits in the near future, then it is prepared to proceed with the projects without the permits, risking financial penalties.
Centre Point has regained the control over its projects from the company Dexus on 1 March 2013, and is planning to complete the majority of the 10 ongoing projects before the end of the year.
