The Gudauri Development Fund, which is attached to the Tbilisi Mayor’s Office, has begun working on projects following a reorganisation. The organisation’s main task will be to develop the capital’s cableways. At this point, works are being carried out on the construction of the cableway linking Roses Square with the Mtatsminda Park. The project is being carried out by the Austrian company Doppelmayr, and is expected to cost GEL 13 million. Shalva Bulashvili of the Gudauri Development Fund has told TV3 that 9 other cableway projects are being considered across the city.
Works on the cableway linking Roses Square with the Mtatsminda Park began in autumn, and are expected to be completed in the summer of 2014.
