Has Georgian business managed to overcome the post-parliamentary election ‘waiting mode’? The Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili has admitted that the private sector placed itself in a waiting mode following last year’s elections, and that the upcoming presidential vote is delaying a full recovery.
Soso Pkhakadze, the President of the Wissol Group, has told TV3 that the election year had its effect on the Georgian economy and the business sector. However, according to Mr. Pkhakadze, the Wissol Group is operating a long term strategy, which will not be hindered by short term political processes.
