Business Association of Georgia together with the European Arbitration Chamber will hold an International Conference on Arbitration Development Issues

(CNA)-On Monday, April 1 at 10 am Business Association of Georgia (BAG) and the European Arbitration Chamber will organize an international conference: “The role of arbitration in East European countries and the implementation of international arbitration conventions within the European Council member countries.” The conference will take place at Sheraton Metechi Palace hotel.
The conference is aimed at discussing arbitration practice in Georgia and related obstacles hindering its development. One of the main topics will be the legislative initiatives, which are regarded by business society and experts as a helpful tool for forming and developing a successful arbitration system in the country. Members of the European Arbitration Chamber will share their experience to Georgian colleagues and will inform them about the history of arbitration development in East European countries and the best contemporary practices.
The conference will be attended by: Tea Tsulukiani, Minister of Justice of Georgia, Alexander Baramidze, Deputy Minister of Justice of Georgia, Giorgi Chirakadze, President of (BAG), Johan Billiet, the Head of the European Arbitration Chamber, Gennady Pampukha,President of the European Arbitration Chamber, Georgian MPs, also representatives from BAG member companies, Georgian and foreign businessmen.
