According to the data published by Sakstat, the Budget income has been reduced by 51 million GEL. Sakstat provides a month-by-month comparison, which shows that the income in June was several millions less than during the same period last year, and indeed less than during May 2013. The data also shows that this year the Budget spending has far exceeded the income. However, a spokesman for the Tax Department has rejected Sakstat’s findings, stating that in reality, the Budget income has actually increased compared to last year.
