BP General Manager Positively Assesses Georgia’s Energy Market Perspectives
(CNA)- Today, on March 26 Kakha Kaladze, was opened the 12th international energy conference GIOGIE 2013 at Radisson Blu Iveria hotel.
“What we’re learning is that Georgia has an increasingly recognized and large potential for reestablishing its upstream business and producing its oil and gas within Georgia. The other thing is that Georgia’s a transit country. Right now over hundred millions of dollars a day transit through Georgia and it’s hugely strategic for the region,” Neil Dunn, told CNA.
Ukrainian Energy Minister Eduard Stavitsky delivered a speech during the conference. The meeting was attended by Head of the EU Mission in Georgia Philip Dimitrov, representatives from UK and Kazakhstan embassies, companies operating in oil and gas sectors and experts.
