Borjomi was awaiting an official invitation from the Warsaw Stock Exchange, according to a statement issued by the famous Georgian mineral water company in response to one of the managers at the Stock Exchange describing its absence from the list of Georgian companies interested in joining the Warsaw Stock Exchange as “shameful.” On 27 June, the Courtyard Marriott Hotel in Tbilisi hosted an event where the benefits of placing stocks at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and attracting capital were discussed. The event was attended by representatives from 50 Georgian companies, and was sponsored by the TBC Bank. However, Borjomi claim that they knew nothing about this event, and were not invited by anyone.
