Bank Republic Société Générale Group Held First Roundtable Meeting with SMEs

Bank Republic Société Générale Group arranged the first roundtable meeting with small and medium size enterprise representatives (SMEs) in the frame of the new global Relationship Brand Platform.

According to Zurab Kartsivadze, Head of SME Sales Department at Bank Republic, the main goal of the meetings held on December 10-11, was the exchange of information with SME representatives, sharing their views and learning what their needs are: “SME direction will be one of the main priorities for Bank Republic in 2013. With the new management the bank is conducting a SME meeting week in order to get informed about the concrete requirements small and medium size businesses have.”

In his words, Bank Republic’s new global Relationship Brand Platform, the main slogan of which is Each of Us Matters, works equally both for the bank’s employees and consumers.

Kakha Korkhelidze, the President of the Georgian Small and Medium Enterprises Association, welcomes Bank Republic’s initiative: “One of the main goals of our association is to assist the establishment of close relations between banks and small and medium size businesses in order to further simplify access to credits. Long-term funding and interest rates play a significant role in economic development. We discussed all these issues and have big hopes up that SMEs will work in an improved environment in future.”

In the frame of the new global Relationship Brand Platform Bank Republic has formed a new team responsible for SME direction. The bank has simplified procedures for small and medium size enterprises.

According to Ramaz Kukuladze, Commercial Director of Bank Republic, the bank will get informed about the issues concerning SME segment and will relatively set future cooperation plans: “Last week Bank Republic announced its new future development strategy, declaring that the bank will be focused at long-term partnership with consumers, mutually beneficial for both sides.”

Bank Republic’s new approach is positively assessed by SME representatives. Sole proprietor Lia Mkervalishvili says Bank Republic offers best conditions for small and medium size businesses: “Compared to other banks, Bank Republic’s offers are certainly the best for SMEs. I hope the bank will further continue this successful relationship with consumers.”

Last week Bank Republic, a part of the Société Générale Group, one of the largest financial groups in Europe, launched a new brand platform. Each of us matters is the new slogan of the bank’s new global vision. Bank Republic’s new global Relationship Brand Platform, developed by the Société Générale Group is based on a revised principle expressed in a general message: Building Team Spirit Together and aims to strengthen its position as a brand focused on the long-term and trust-based relationship with its clients and stakeholders.
