Attempts to stock up the State Budget through trial agreements and fines – the United National Movement has raised the issue of increase in trial agreements and financial sanctions under the present government. Giorgi Vashadze of the UNM has told TV3 that the government is looking to finance its promises through any means possible. According to him, the statistics show that in excess of GEL 89 million has been obtained through financial penalties during the first 9 months of this year, which is 15 million more than during the same period in 2012. The UNM claims that in spite of the government’s efforts, there will be a GEL 600 million hole in the State Budget by the end of the year.
