Previously rejected by the Russian Sanitation Department, the cognac products of the Askaneli Brothers Company will be exported to Russia after all. Reports regarding the rejection of five different brands of Askaneli cognac by the Russian authorities surfaced recently. However, one of the owners of Askaneli Brothers, Jimi Chkhaidze, states that the wine products manufactured by the company can already be found on the Russian market, and while there were problems with the cognac, these have now been resolved as well. According to Mr. Chkhaidze, the excise marks will arrive this week, and the cognac will be shipped to the Russian Federation.
