Why has there been a delay in adopting the new anti-monopoly legislation? The Deputy Minister of the Economy Natia Mikeladze has told TV3 that the legislation has not been passed on to the Parliament yet, citing certain difficulties that arose during the drafting process as the reason. She has refrained from specifying the difficulties in question at this stage. According to Ms. Mikeladze, a task group at the ministry has been studying the anti-monopoly issue in detail since the beginning of the year. The deputy minister adds that both donor groups and international organisations are involved in the drafting process, and the legislation is expected to reach the Parliament in autumn.
