Another Legal Dispute in the Business Sector
In a case of yet another dispute within the Georgian business sector, the owner of the computer company Max Top, Mindia Kashibadze, is taking the former owner of Pirveli cigarette brand Avto Tsereteli to court. Accoring to Mr. Kashibadze’s lawyer Dimitri Gabunia, Mr. Tsereteli and some former employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out a campaign of physical and psychological intimidation, aiming to force Mr. Kashibadze to give up his company. Mr. Kashibadze currently resides in the Czech Republic, where he obtained political asylum. The dispute between him and Avto Tsereteli is currently being investigated by the Prosecutor’s Office.
