Alexander Mashkevitch and his Role in the Co-Investment Fund

The Prime Minister has spoken about the current economic situation in the country, and has drawn the journalists’ attention to his recent meeting with Alexander Mashkevitch, one of the investors in the Co-Investment Fund. According to him, Mr. Mashkevitch visited Georgia a few days ago, and together they discussed a project relating to the healthcare sector. Mr. Ivanishvili has not specified the project in question. However, he stated that the establishment of the Co-Investment Fund was not among the government’s responsibilities, yet it has been created to bring additional benefits to the country’s economy.
According to Forbes, Alexander Mashkevitch is worth $2.1 billion. He is the President of the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
