Following a false alarm, the Tbilisi International Airport has resumed its normal operations. A message claiming there to be a bomb at the airport was delivered late in the evening, and led to the evacuation of the premises. The airport remained closed for one and a half hours due to the hoax. As in the case of the Imedi and Rustavi-2 headquarters, no device has been found. In the light of these events, the Ministry of Internal affairs has demanded stricter laws to be introduced to combat similar hoaxes.
