What advice have experts given to Bidzina Ivanishvili with regards to economic growth? The economics expert Emzar Jgerenaia, who attended a recent meeting with the Prime Minister, has told TV3 that the government is already working on addressing the issue of the slowing economic growth rate. He adds that the initial calculations forecasting a 6% growth for this year were wrong, and realistically, the country’s economy can be expected to grow by 4%. According to Mr. Jgerenaia, the main problem facing the economy is unemployment, and the government must work harder to address this issue.
Irakli Tsiskarishvili, another participant of the meeting with Mr. Ivanishvili, states that the current political environment in the country has an impact on the performance of its economy, and resolving this issue must be a priority.
