A new tunnel was opened in Tbilisi. The new 95-meter long tunnel heads from Marshal Gelovani Street to Aghmashenebeli Avenue. The tunnel was constructed according to international standards and is supposed to discharge traffic on one of the most important crossroads of Tbilisi. The construction works included renovation of new infrastructure around the tunnel; a new square has been arranged on one of its sides. Tbilisi authorities say the works on road infrastructure will be completed by the end of September.
