After being hospitalized because of injuries from a collision on the Long Island Expressway, rapper 50 Cent has been released from the hospital.

On Tuesday morning, rapper 50 Cent was involved in a car crash on the Long Island Expressway in New York City.

TMZ reports that 50 Cent was sent to the hospital after his SUV and a mack truck collided. A red mack truck rear ended the Grammy winning rapper’s SUV, causing it to almost flip over.

After the crash, 50 Cent, also known as Curtis Jackson, was taken to a nearby hospital after possibly sustaining injuries to his neck and back.

A rep for Jackson told TMZ that Jackson is recovering, but doing well. The rep said, “He was taken to New York Hospital Queens where he was treated for minor neck and back injuries. He was released this morning and is doing fine.”

CBS News reports that Bruce Miller, the driver of the car, was also injured, but has been released from the hospital as well.

Photos of the accident can be seen on ThisIs50, where the rapper can be seen on a stretcher, wearing a neck brace.
