2013 Lamborghini Aventador Roadster LP700-4 sold out!
The two-seater, drop-top wonder has banked a year’s worth of pre-orders; deliveries will begin in April 2013.
The newest Lamborghini with a two-piece removable carbon fiber roof, separated by a central spinal column – more commonly known as the Aventador Roadster LP700-4 was launched in the international market less than three months ago and was recently launched in India in January at Rs 4,77,50,000 (ex-showroom, New Delhi.) And at that ‘head-spinning-price-tag’ one might think it would take at least a modest duration of time for the world to make withdrawals from their bank accounts and book one of these Italian drop-top wonders. But then apparently ‘one’ is very wrong.
The Italian exotic car maker has reportedly, announced that its Aventador Roadster LP700-4 has been sold out and bookings have been made by wealthy enthusiasts until mid-2014. Meanwhile, those who are at the top of the booking list will get their -ego extensions- by April 2013.
So if you haven’t booked the Roaster already, be prepared for a really long wait or cough up a heavy premium to get the jump the queue. Or you can always move on to the Ferrari 458 Spyder of a Mclaren 12C Spyder.
As a refresher, the two-seater Aventador Roadster features a carbon fiber roof drop-top and is powered by a centrally located 6.5-litre V12 engine producing 704 PS of max power and and can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3 seconds with a max speed of 350 kmph.
