150 Million for 200 Enterprises

When and how will over 200 new enterprises be financed? TV3 has become interested in this issue following the Prime Minister’s statement. According to the agriculture Minister Shalva Pipia, the funding of new enterprises will begin next year, and the State has already prepared a GEL 150 million portfolio to conduct the project.
The minister has further explained that long term plans are in place to give the funding of both existing and completely new enterprises a systematic character.
Initially, there had been talk of establishing 60 new enterprises as part of the Cheap Agricultural Loans programme. Later, the Prime Minister spoke of 100 new businesses, while most recently, the target was raised to 200 enterprises.
